The previous evening, Russian occupation forces fired several missiles at an energy facility in Kharkiv.

Igor Terekhov, the mayor of the city, said this during the telethon.

“Yesterday, the enemy struck a very serious blow to an energy facility — three missiles were hit. As a result, there was a certain power outage,” he said.

According to him, the situation in Kharkiv remains difficult. Currently, both planned and emergency power outage schedules are in effect in the city. In total, about 40% of Kharkiv residents remain without electricity.

As Terekhov noted, the energy system “cannot withstand” the heavy load on the network, and fires were recorded in Kharkiv.

Volunteers and utilities worked day and night, eliminating the consequences of the Russian attack.

As previously reported, Russian forces have repeatedly attacked an energy facility in Odessa , causing significant damage to infrastructure. The city is at risk of prolonged power outages.
