Russians hit Sumy region over 40 times in a day: two men injured

Russian troops launched more than 40 strikes on 14 settlements in Sumy region over the past 24 hours. Two men were injured in the attacks.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

It is noted that Russian troops shelled the region from the morning of October 1 to the morning of October 2. The largest number of strikes was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.

In the Sumy community, a 46-year-old man was injured as a result of a Russian drone strike. In the Bezdrytsky community, a 31-year-old man was injured as a result of an attack by an enemy drone.

Russian forces used artillery, mortars, FPV drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, and guided aerial bombs to strike the region.

In the Sumy community, apartment buildings, non-residential buildings, cars, and a truck were damaged. In the Bezdrytsky community, a non-residential building was damaged.

In the Glukhiv community, an apartment building, non-residential buildings, and a car were damaged as a result of shelling. In the Esman community, residential buildings were destroyed and damaged.

It was previously reported that on Tuesday, September 29, Russian occupation forces attacked a school in Sumy, where children were sheltering at the time.
