Russians hit Sumy region with drones: three people died, including an 8-year-old child

On the night of Tuesday, June 24, Russian occupation forces attacked the Sumy region with strike drones. A village in the Verkhnyosyrovatsk community came under fire. According to preliminary information, three people were killed, including an eight-year-old boy.

This was announced by the head of the Sumy OVA, Oleg Hrygorov.

It is reported that the Russians attacked at around midnight. One of the shells destroyed a house, and the body of a child was recovered from under the rubble. A man and a woman were also killed – all the victims lived on the same street, but were from different families.

“They simply went to sleep in their homes… Russian drones interrupted their lives in their sleep,” Grigorov noted.

Three more people were rescued from the rubble, one of them in serious condition. All the injured are in hospital.

As a reminder, the number of victims in Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack carried out on the night of June 23 has increased to nine .

As reported, on June 23, Russian occupiers shelled the Pokrovska community and Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk region.
