Russians hit the operating room of the Strazheska Institute in Kyiv: one person was injured

Russian forces attacked the Strazhesk Institute of Cardiology in Kyiv. The strike hit the sixth floor of the medical facility, where the operating room is located. One patient was injured in the attack.

This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretsky.

According to him, this is the second time the Russians have attacked a medical facility. Last year, the attack hit the fourth floor of the institute, and this time, it hit the sixth floor, where surgeries are performed.

There were no fatalities as a result of the attack. One of the patients was injured and received necessary medical attention.

Koretsky noted that the Strazheska Institute accepts patients with cardiovascular diseases from all over Ukraine. Doctors perform complex surgeries, treat people after heart attacks, and help them recover.

He also thanked medical workers who, despite Russian attacks, continue to save the lives of patients.
