Russians launch combined strikes on two ports in Odessa region: two dead and many injured

On Wednesday, January 7, Russian occupiers launched a combined strike on port infrastructure in the Odessa region using missiles and drones.

This was announced by the head of the OVA , Oleh Kiper, and the Minister of Community Development, Oleksiy Kuleba.

As it became known, the enemy attacked two ports, resulting in two deaths and at least eight more injuries.

All necessary services are working at the site of the attacks, the elimination of the consequences of the shelling is ongoing. The wounded are being provided with medical assistance.

In addition, port infrastructure, administrative buildings, freight transport, and containers were damaged. According to Kuleba, the ports continue to operate.

Currently, law enforcement officers are recording traces of Russian strikes.

“This is another blow from a terrorist country to the port infrastructure, which is involved in ensuring the world’s food security. Russia is deliberately trying to undermine the economy and destroy maritime logistics,” the minister stressed.

As a reminder, on the night of January 7 , Russian troops attacked Ukraine with a ballistic missile and almost a hundred strike drones .
