Russians launch drone strike on Sumy: CCC comes under attack

On Wednesday, March 18, Russian occupation forces attacked Sumy using an unidentified type of UAV, and the local territorial recruitment center was under attack.

This was reported by the head of the city military administration , Serhiy Kryvosheyenko , and “ Suspilne ”.

As the official noted, the enemy struck an administrative building. Later, “Suspilne” clarified that it was the Trade Center.

According to media reports, there were people in the building at the time of the attack, but there were no casualties.

At the same time, the attack injured people who were at a public transport stop. First, it became known that a teenager was injured and was hospitalized. Later, another victim was taken to the hospital.

In addition, infrastructure was damaged. In particular, windows and balcony blocks were broken in several high-rise buildings.

Other consequences of the Russian shelling are currently being determined. Experts are conducting an examination of the area at the site of the attack.
