Russians launched a combined attack on the Sumy community, causing power and water outages.
On the evening of October 15, Russian troops launched a combined attack on the Sumy community. The attack resulted in power outages in Sumy and the Sumy district.
The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this.
According to preliminary data, the impacts did not occur in the residential sector; there were no casualties.
“All necessary services are working, and the extent of the damage is being determined. There are power outages in Sumy and the Sumy district. Backup power sources are being activated. We are working to quickly eliminate the aftermath of the strike,” the OVA said in a statement.
Due to damage to the power grid, power was cut off to the Gorvodokanal municipal enterprise’s facilities, leading to temporary interruptions in water supply.
“Power engineers are working to resolve the issue. As soon as the situation stabilizes, water supply will be restored,” the utility service noted.
Previously, Russians targeted maternity hospitals and a home in Sumy.
