Russians launched massive shelling in the Kharkiv region, killing five people in Bugayevka.

On August 10, Russian forces launched a massive artillery attack on residential areas in the village of Bugaivka in the Kharkiv region. The attack killed at least five people and destroyed several homes.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this.

Russian forces also attacked Sumy. The occupiers launched five guided bombs at the city, hitting civilian infrastructure. At least 14 people were injured in the shelling, mostly with minor injuries or acute stress reactions. Among the casualties was a 14-year-old child.

In Zaporizhzhia, Russians used drones to attack a garage cooperative in one of the city’s districts. The blast wave and debris damaged two apartment buildings.

In total, during the attack, Russian forces used a Kh-59/69 guided air-to-air missile, three Banderol loitering munitions, and 126 attack drones.

Ukrainian air defenses destroyed 92 attack UAVs and all three “Panderoli” cargoes. Another 31 drones recorded hits at 22 locations, with debris from the downed drones landing in two locations.

The Russian Kh-59/69 missile failed to reach its target.
