Russian units have begun to abandon some of their positions on the Kinburn Spit in the Mykolaiv region. These are areas near the coastline in the north and west of the territory.
This was announced by the partisan movement “ATESH”.
According to him, the withdrawal is due to personnel losses, problems with logistics, and the transfer of part of the Russian forces to other areas.
The movement claims that units of the 337th Russian Regiment are being withdrawn from the front lines. They also report increasing losses on this section of the front.
Separately, it is noted that Russian troops allegedly have serious supply problems. Ammunition, fuel, and food are not being delivered to their positions in sufficient quantities.
“ATESH” also states that some of the military could have been transferred to other areas, in particular to Zaporizhia. Because of this, the units on the Kinburn Spit remain understaffed.
The Kinburn Spit is of strategic importance for southern Ukraine. From this area, Russian troops can influence the situation in the Black Sea and the coast of the Mykolaiv region.
