Russians occupied another settlement in Sumy region – DeepState

Russian troops advanced in the Sumy region and occupied the settlement of Novomykolaivka.

This is stated in a message from the monitoring project DeepState .

In addition, it is noted that the Russian occupiers have advanced near Varachyne, Hrabovsky (Sumy Oblast) and Molodetsky (Donetsk Oblast).

It was previously reported that the situation on the front near the city of Siversk in the Donetsk region is extremely difficult , the Russians are seeking to create a bridgehead in the Slavyansk direction for further advancement.

By the way, analysts from the DeepState project reported that in the Slavic direction, the enemy managed to occupy the village of Serebryanka near Siversk.

In turn, the Ukrainian Defense Forces denied reports of the alleged capture of the settlements of Serebryanka and Dronivka by the enemy . According to official information, Ukrainian units are holding positions within these settlements and on the adjacent borders.
