The Russian occupiers are recruiting migrant workers from Central Asia to participate in the war against Ukraine. Most of them are already dying on the front.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.

According to intelligence, citizens of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and other Central Asian countries are increasingly falling into the trap of forced mobilization by Russian security forces. This primarily concerns labor migrants who arrive in the Russian Federation in search of work.

Representatives of the Russian army mislead foreigners with promises of “quick earnings” on short-term contracts. In reality, the chances of not only earning money but also of surviving are minimal. Most of these “volunteers” die.

Among the known victims are Uzbek mercenaries Umarov Syrozhiddin Sabyrdzhanovich and Kholbuvozoda Muhammad Fayzullo, who served in motorized rifle units and died during hostilities.

Migrants are mobilized into separate units and sent to the most dangerous areas of the front.

Even those who survive risk returning home and facing criminal prosecution for participating in the armed forces of a foreign state, with the prospect of long imprisonment.
