The Russians in Zaporizhia are regrouping to resume assaults on the Orikhiv, Hulyaipil, and Prydniprov directions.

This was announced on TV by the spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn.

According to him, “fewer assaults than usual” were recorded in the past day.

“The enemy is currently conducting certain regroupings of forces and assets, bringing up personnel of assault groups to advanced positions, providing engineering support for these assaults, for example, clearing the passageways, and is also building up its reserves and logistics, preparing to resume active assault operations in two Zaporizhia directions: Orikhiv and Hulyaipil,” Voloshyn said.

Voloshyn noted that the enemy is also pulling up personnel to the Dnieper direction, where, apparently, it will try to resume assault operations within several days.

“In addition, over the past few days, we have seen an increase in the number of enemy air strikes. The enemy has begun to work very actively along the right bank in the Kherson direction, launching strikes with unguided air missiles on several settlements,” the spokesman noted.

He added that usually the number of Russian drones used in these areas does not exceed 180, but these days there have been up to 250 strikes.

In addition, Voloshyn noted, the Russians increased the use of artillery, striking the right bank of the Dnieper.

It was previously reported that in the Torets direction, Russian occupation forces stopped using armored vehicles during assaults .

Recall that the Russian summer offensive suffered setbacks a few weeks after its start , despite a record number of attacks on various fronts.
