Russian occupation forces began mass-mining the streets of Kherson with anti-personnel mines.
This was reported by the press service of the MBA.
To remotely mine the regional center, the enemy uses “Petal” type mines, which are easily camouflaged under fallen leaves or in the grass.
The Kherson Regional Military Administration warned that PFM-1 petal mines are capable of self-destructing at any moment or exploding at the slightest touch.
Mines have already been discovered at several locations in Kherson, including:
- 94 Universytetska St.;
- 114 Ilyushi Kulyk St.;
- intersection of Zalaegerszeg and Krymska streets;
- Myru Street;
- Zalaegerszeg Street (near the church) and the area near the Lucansky Hospital;
- intersection of Kulika and Chornomorska streets.
Local residents were urged to be vigilant and, if they find a mine, not to touch it, move it or try to defuse it themselves. Instead, in such cases, they should immediately call 101 or 102.
We would like to remind you that in the Kupyansky district of the Kharkiv region , two boys, 11 and 12 years old, were seriously injured due to the explosion of a dangerous object .
