The enemy is launching its sabotage and reconnaissance groups into the Dnipropetrovsk region to create an information wave.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky, Interfax-Ukraine reports .
However, according to him, there is currently no advance of Russian groups into the Dnipropetrovsk region.
“(The Russians – ed.) are trying to get at least one foot on the administrative border. For them, it’s important to have a story, to take a photo, a video, etc. That’s why they launch small DRGs, so that they can just do it,” the president explained.
He noted that the day before, the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated an enemy group of 6 people who were a kilometer from the border of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
“They advanced simply because they are a small group and they are not seen. Zelenka appeared. Everything has blossomed, and therefore it is clear that they will run around the plantations,” Zelensky added.
As noted, the Russian occupiers managed to gain a foothold 2 kilometers from the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
As a reminder, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that the Russian army has allegedly reached the western borders of the Donetsk region and continues to advance on the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Subsequently, the “Khortytsia” military unit stated that the information from the Russian Ministry of Defense about the alleged withdrawal of their troops to the administrative border between Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions was not true .
