Russians shell Sumy: power outages in the city

The Russian army launched a drone strike on Sumy, hitting a garage and a car.

This was reported by the police of Sumy region.

“This afternoon, Russian troops hit the regional center with a strike drone. As a result, a garage and a car were damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties,” law enforcement officials reported.

An investigative task force and police bomb disposal experts are working at the site of the strike. Law enforcement officers are documenting the war crime, surveying the area and recording the damage.

Investigators are deciding whether to open a criminal case under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).

At the same time, as reported by JSC Sumyoblenergo , the city experienced power supply interruptions as a result of the Russian attack.

“The power outages in Sumy are related to the Russian army’s attack on critical infrastructure,” the report says.

The company said it was working to restore power supply.
