Russians shelled Kherson: a woman was killed, another was wounded

On the morning of August 26, Russian occupation forces launched an artillery shelling of Kherson. The attack killed a local resident and injured another woman.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

At around 4:45 a.m., the enemy opened fire on the city with artillery. An 81-year-old woman died as a result of the shelling. Another woman, a 53-year-old woman, was injured and taken to a medical facility for necessary assistance.

Law enforcement agencies have launched a pre-trial investigation into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war.

As a reminder, on the night of August 27 , Russian troops carried out a large-scale attack with kamikaze drones on Sumy . As a result of the shelling, damage to infrastructure facilities and disruptions to electricity and water supplies were recorded.

As reported,Russian occupiers in the Dnipro district of Kherson attacked a civilian with a drone, as a result of which he was injured.
