Russians shelled Sumy region with drones and missiles, three civilians injured

In Sumy region, Russian forces struck residential buildings and civilian transport in several communities. The attacks injured 2 women and 1 man, and there was also damage to private housing.

This was announced by the head of the Sumy OVA, Oleg Hrygorov.

According to operational data, two civilian women and a man were injured in the Okhtyrsky district.

In the Chernechchynska community, a Russian drone hit a residential building. There were no people in the building at the time of the impact. A 61-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction, and doctors provided assistance on the spot.

In the Velykypysarivska community, Russian troops attacked a civilian car. A 43-year-old woman was hospitalized with injuries. There, a man ran over an explosive device and was injured. Medics provided him with the necessary assistance, and he will undergo further treatment on an outpatient basis.

“I wish the injured a speedy recovery,” said Oleg Grigorov.

In the Popivska community of Konotop district, private residential buildings were damaged as a result of a rocket strike. No people were initially injured, and an inspection of the area is underway.

At the same time, the State Emergency Service reported that in one of the villages of the Chernechchyn community in the afternoon, a drone caused partial destruction and a fire in a private house.

Rescuers extinguished the fire and examined the impact site. The blast wave also damaged windows in neighboring residential buildings. Previously, one person suffered an acute stress reaction.

Earlier, Russian occupation forces attacked a medical facility in the Sumy region , causing damage as a result of the shelling.

Recall that the Russian occupiers carried out a drone strike on the infrastructure of Odessa on the night of February 15. Part of the city was left without water supply.
