Russians strike Balaklia in Kharkiv region: there are wounded, including children
On the night of Tuesday, June 16, Russian occupation forces attacked Balaklia, Kharkiv region. Residential areas of the city and civilian infrastructure were under fire. Six people, including two children, were injured as a result of the attack.
This was reported by the head of the Balakliya city military administration, Vitaly Karabanov.
According to preliminary data, hits were recorded in the private sector, near apartment buildings, and on the territory of a civilian enterprise.

“The enemy is once again terrorizing the civilians of our community. Residential buildings and civilian objects were hit. At the moment, six people are known to have been wounded, including two children,” said Vitaliy Karabanov.
According to him, four injured people were taken to hospital. Two more people were treated at the scene.
“Doctors are doing everything necessary to help the victims. Information about other possible victims of the shelling is still being clarified,” the head of the MVA said.
Rescuers, medics, law enforcement officers, and municipal services are currently working at the scene of the attacks. The consequences of the enemy attack are being eliminated.
“All relevant services are involved in the work. We continue to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and provide assistance to people,” added Vitaliy Karabanov.
