On September 10, Russian troops again attacked a shopping and entertainment center in the center of Sumy, which had suspended operations following a previous attack the previous day.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Anti-Corruption Office, Oleg Grigorov.
“The enemy just launched another attack on a shopping mall in the center of Sumy,” he noted.
According to the head of the OVA, this time the building was hit by a jet drone. The shopping mall was also attacked the day before and was closed for restoration work.
A new strike caused a fire in the building. It is being contained, but the work is complicated by repeated threats.
As of the time of notification, there were no reports of casualties. The consequences of the attack and the extent of the damage are being determined.
