Russians struck a TV tower in Chernihiv, damaging the structure.

On the evening of October 29, Russian troops attacked a television tower in the center of Chernigov, resulting in damage to the structure.

The Chernihiv City Council reported this.

Local authorities noted that in order to prevent emergency situations, they will soon carry out work to stabilize the structure of the television tower.

Residents of Chernihiv were urged not to approach the object and to limit their time near it to a radius of 200 meters.

The day before, the city council reported an attack on a critical infrastructure facility, but did not specify whether it was the television tower. Furthermore, the shelling damaged an administrative building and a residential building, knocking out windows and balconies.
