Russians struck Zaporizhzhia with a KAB: the number of casualties has risen to 13.
On August 10, Russian forces launched a guided bomb attack on Zaporizhia. The attack injured at least 13 people, including a 10-year-old child, who remains in serious condition.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia police department, Ivan Fedorov, reported on the consequences of the attack.
At around 10:53 a.m., he confirmed that Russian forces had launched another air strike on the city. According to preliminary reports, the attack set cars on fire and damaged a private home.
“Cars are burning, a private home is damaged: these are the preliminary consequences of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia. The Russians dropped a guided bomb on the regional center,” Fedorov reported.
By around 11:15 a.m., three civilian injuries were reported. Several vehicles were also reported on fire.
At 12:19 p.m., the number of injured rose to four. One child, in particular, required medical attention.
About an hour later, at 1:10 p.m., Fedorov reported 13 casualties as a result of the Russian strike.
According to the prosecutor’s office, a 10-year-old girl was among the injured. The child was hospitalized and is in serious condition.
Earlier, Russian forces carried out a massive artillery shelling of residential areas in the village of Bugayevka in the Kharkiv region. The attack killed at least five people and destroyed several residential buildings.
