Russians targeted a maternity hospital in Sumy

On Monday, October 6, Russian occupation forces struck Sumy, damaging a maternity hospital.
This was announced by the head of the Sumy OVA, Oleg Hrygorov , and the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak .
“The enemy targeted a medical facility building in the Kovpakiv district of Sumy with a drone,” the head of the administration said in a statement.
It is currently known that the roof of the building is damaged.
At the time of the attack, more than 160 people were in the building: 11 children, 35 patients, and 120 employees.
According to preliminary information, there were no injuries, as everyone present in the facility went down to shelter.
At the same time, Grigorov warned of the threat of repeated air attacks and urged residents to remain in safe places.
As a reminder, Russian occupiers attacked the village of Chornobayvka, Kherson region , three civilians were injured, including a seriously injured 18-year-old girl.
By the way, on the night of October 6 , the enemy attacked an energy facility in the Chernihiv region , causing a power outage.
