After the night-time Russian attack on Kyiv on January 20, which involved missiles and drones, more than 5,600 multi-story buildings were left without heat. The majority of these — about 80% — are residential buildings where heat was only recently restored after the shelling on January 9.

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that as of the evening of the previous day, only 16 houses remained without heat due to damage to critical infrastructure, but the new blow again led to large-scale outages.

Additionally, as a result of today’s attack, residents of the Left Bank were temporarily left without water supply. Energy and utility companies are working to restore heat, water, and electricity to restore normal life support systems for Kyiv residents.

Recall, on the night of Tuesday, January 20, Russia carried out another attack on Kyiv. At about 2 a.m., the enemy launched several strikes on the city using ballistic weapons . A series of powerful explosions were heard in various areas of the capital.
