Ryazan Oil Refinery, Control Point, and Drone Warehouse: Defense Forces Attack a Number of Russian Facilities

On the night of September 5, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of Russian targets in the occupied lands and territory of the Russian Federation.
This was reported to the General Staff.
In particular, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces, and the Main Intelligence Directorate, together with other components of the Defense Forces, attacked the Ryazan Oil Refinery.
According to preliminary information, a hit was recorded at the ELOU-AVT-6 primary oil refining unit, with an estimated capacity of 6 million tons of oil per year.
As the General Staff emphasized, the enterprise is one of the four largest oil refineries in the Russian Federation. Its design capacity is 17.1 million tons of oil per year.
The Ryazan Refinery produces various grades of gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, liquefied gases, and other refined petroleum products.
It is known that the facility is involved in the functioning of the Russian occupation army.
At the same time, Special Operations Forces struck the positions of two divisions of the S-400 Triumph air defense system in the Kaluga region. Previously, a command and staff vehicle and a control point were hit.
In addition, in the area of temporarily occupied Luhansk, SBU units attacked a warehouse of engineering ammunition and UAVs of the Russian army. As a result, a secondary detonation occurred at the facility, followed by a fire.
“The defense forces continue to take all measures to undermine the military-economic potential of the Russian occupiers, provide the invading army with fuel and ammunition, and force the Russian Federation to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine,” the General Staff summarized.
We will remind you that on the night of August 28, 2025 , the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a large-scale attack on key facilities of Russia’s military-economic potential , in particular, the Kuibyshev Oil Refinery was hit.
By the way, on the night of August 29 , the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted a complex fire attack on an oil pumping station near the settlement of Naytopovichi in the Bryansk region.
