Sandu’s pro-European party wins: Moldovan election results announced

The Central Election Commission of Moldova processed ballots from almost 100% of polling stations.
This is stated on the CEC website.
In particular, data from 2,272 out of 2,274 polling stations has already been processed and 1,577,150 votes have been counted.
According to the commission, the ruling Action and Solidarity party (PAS) gained the most support from voters, gaining over 50% of the vote.
The Patriotic Bloc took second place, receiving almost a quarter of all votes — 24%, and the ALTERNATIVE Bloc took third place with a result of 7.97%.
This is followed by “Our Party” with 6.2% of the vote and “Democracy at Home” (PPDA), which received 5.62%.
It is worth noting that the overall turnout in the parliamentary elections was 52%. The most active voters were those aged 66 to 75. On the other hand, young people aged 18-25 were reluctant to vote, their turnout was less than half — only 48%.
As you know, on Sunday, September 28, parliamentary elections were held in Moldova , in which citizens elected a new legislative body of 101 deputies.
