The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office has opened criminal proceedings against former Deputy Prime Minister Stefanishyna.

This was reported to NABU at the request of Oleksiy Honcharenko, a member of parliament from the European Solidarity party.

The People’s Deputy reported that Stefanyshyna is suspected of abuse of power or official position, which led to serious consequences.

“The proceedings were opened on June 11, 2025. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by NABU detectives,” Honcharenko said.

It is noted that Part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, under which proceedings have been opened against Stefanishyna, provides for a penalty of imprisonment for a term of three to six years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years.

The article also provides for a fine of five hundred to one thousand tax-free minimum incomes.

Previously, former Justice Minister Stefanishyna, who justified “preventive sanctions” against Poroshenko, was caught up in a new corruption scandal . People from her entourage received at least four large real estate properties under management through ARMA, including the Trade Union Building on Independence Square in the capital.
