SBU Academy to Strengthen Practical Orientation and Cooperation with Partners: Details

The share of practical training and exchange of experience with foreign colleagues has increased at the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine.

The rector of the educational institution, Andriy Chernyak, reported this during a round table at Ukrinform.

“We combine the provision of theoretical knowledge with practical skills. This allows our graduates to compete with each other and with cadets of other security agencies, which increases the overall level of training. The academy also actively cooperates with international partners,” the head of the educational institution noted in his speech.

The cadets and students of the Academy have already received more than a thousand awards from the operational departments of the Security Service and dozens of awards from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for real results of their work.

According to Andrey Chernyak, the educational programs practiced by the educational institution allow students and cadets to confidently implement them in real life.

“This is the result of the practical component of training future officers. Students and cadets are actively involved in real tasks and successfully complete them,” the head of the academy emphasized.

In addition, Andrey Chernyak drew attention to the fact that the university actively cooperates with foreign colleagues: specialists in information and cyber security are actively involved in classes with future graduates of the university. Such integration of international experience and our own developments, according to the rector of the National Academy of the SBU, improves the quality of training counterintelligence personnel and makes this higher educational institution more competitive among the leading educational institutions of the security sector.
