SBU comments on searches in SAP

The Security Service of Ukraine has confirmed that a comprehensive inspection has been conducted at the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office to ensure compliance with state secrets legislation.

This is stated in a statement by the SBU.

The department emphasized that the inspection is being conducted exclusively within the framework of the law and does not involve familiarization with the content of all covert or operational activities carried out by NABU and SAP.

“Statements about the possible disclosure of information about covert investigative actions by the SBU are unfounded and manipulative,” the Service noted.

They also explained that conducting urgent investigative actions without a court order is not a violation if obtaining such an order could lead to information leakage or damage special operations, especially in cases involving cooperation with an aggressor state.

Let us recall that the Security Service of Ukraine came to the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) this morning without official warning to check compliance with the legislation on state secrets.

Earlier, the SBU conducted searches at the homes of NABU detectives .
