Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine detained two Russian agents who were preparing new missile and drone strikes on Kyiv and Odessa.

This was reported by the press service of the SBU.

The captured agents operated separately, but had a common supervisor. Their task was to photograph potential targets and transmit their coordinates.

In Kyiv, investigators detained a 31-year-old resident of temporarily occupied Melitopol, whom the Russians had “sent” to spy on the capital.

In accordance with the requirements of the enemy’s military intelligence, the person involved was to identify and transmit the locations of repair bases for military equipment of the Defense Forces.

The man’s additional task was to track the time intervals of the largest concentration of people near the recruiting centers in the Kyiv region, on which the Russians planned to carry out airstrikes.

Instead, a former military woman was detained in Odessa, who, after leaving the service, collaborated with the enemy.

The Russians were interested in the units of the maritime guard, border guards, and the National Guard in the port city. In exchange for the coordinates of the locations, the woman wanted to receive money. However, according to the SBU, the occupiers did not pay her.

Investigators informed the defendants of suspicion of committing high treason during the martial law regime.

They are currently being held without bail and face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

Recall, a 26-year-old Russian agent who spied in the Odessa region while posing as a woman was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

By the way, the SBU detained two Russian informants who were “leaking” information about the SOU positions near Sloviansk to the occupiers and spying on the echelons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
