During a special operation in the Kyiv region, employees of the Security Service of Ukraine eliminated agents of the Russian special services involved in the murder of SBU Colonel Ivan Voronich in Kyiv.

The SBU press service reported this.

The murder was committed by two people – a man and a woman. They received the task from their FSB handler to follow the Ukrainian officer, establish his schedule and routes. After that, the killers were given the coordinates of the cache of weapons with which they committed the murder.

After the crime, the perpetrators tried to hide, but were quickly discovered by the SBU and National Police. On the morning of July 13, during the arrest, the perpetrators resisted, so they were eliminated.

The operation was personally coordinated by the head of the SBU, Vasyl Malyuk. According to him, an FSB intelligence and combat group had committed the murder of a Ukrainian defender several days before.

“The enemy’s only prospect on Ukrainian territory is death,” the head of the SBU emphasized.

Let us recall that on Wednesday, July 10, Colonel of the Security Service of Ukraine Ivan Voronich was killed in Kiev . The attacker shot the man several times at point-blank range.
