Special forces of the Central Operational Command ‘A’ of Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) have destroyed 17 Russian air defense, electronic warfare, and radar systems in just four days, significantly weakening enemy capabilities.
This was reported by the press service of the SBU.
According to the SBU, the total value of this equipment on the Russian domestic market alone exceeds $250 million, while its export price is 2.5 times higher.
Among the Russian losses were:
-
Four TOR-M2 air defense systems
-
Three Pantsyr air defense systems
-
Two S-300 air defense systems
-
One BUK-M3 air defense missile system
-
Radar 50N6 (S-350)
-
Radar Kasta-2E2
-
Podlyot radar
-
Resident electronic warfare system
-
Radar Nebo – SVU
-
Radar 55Zh6M (Nebo – M)
The SBU explained that the destruction of these systems deprives the enemy of the ability to detect targets in time and counter Ukrainian long-range drones.
“Without effective air defense and electronic warfare capabilities, the occupiers are facing new, devastating defeats deep in their rear areas,” the Special Service added.
In addition, on the night of August 28, 2025, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a large-scale attack on key facilities of the Russian military-economic potential. The Afipsk and Kuibyshev oil refineries, as well as ammunition depots and logistics centers of the aggressor, were hit.
Moreover, earlier, units of the Defense Forces struck the Novoshakhtinsk oil products plant and many other important Russian facilities.
