Long-range drones of the SBU’s Alpha Special Operations Center attacked two Russian Su-27 aircraft at the Crimean Belbek airfield.

This was reported by the press service of the SBU.

It is noted that one of the planes was on the taxiway with full ammunition and was ready for a combat flight. It was destroyed.

The estimated cost of both aircraft is about $70 million.

In addition, damage to the control tower has been additionally confirmed, which may complicate the organization and control of flights at the airfield.

This is the second successful SBU attack on the Belbek airfield in recent days. On December 18, the Service’s drones hit hundreds of millions of dollars worth of Russian equipment at this airfield: two Nebo-SVU radars, a 92N6 radar from the S-400 Triumph air defense system, a Pantsir-S2 air defense system, and a MiG-31 aircraft with full ammunition.

“SBU strikes on key military airfields, as well as the destruction of enemy aircraft and air defense systems in temporarily occupied Crimea, significantly reduce its military potential in the region. This systematic work will continue,” the report says.

Recall that the Security Service of Ukraine conducted a unique operation, using drones to hit a submarine in a Russian port .
