SBU prevented a terrorist attack in the center of Ivano-Frankivsk: details
Russian special services, with the help of a teenage girl, planned to remotely detonate explosives in the central park of Ivano-Frankivsk.
This was reported by the press service of the SBU.
The enemy’s plans were foiled thanks to a 15-year-old schoolgirl who contacted the SBU chatbot “Spaly FSBshnik” in advance and reported the occupiers’ intentions to recruit her to commit a terrorist attack.
It is noted that an FSB officer responded to the girl’s messenger and offered money in exchange for cooperation. During the operational combination, law enforcement officers learned that, on the instructions of the occupiers, the minor was to make a homemade explosive device, fill it with nuts and hide it in a thermos.
In order not to arouse suspicion from her family, the FSB supervisor instructed the girl to assemble a bomb in a rented apartment. Later, the Russian intelligence officer told the schoolgirl that she had to deliver a thermos with explosives to a city park during rush hour, when there would be a maximum number of people there.
At this point, the FSB planned to remotely detonate the device along with the underage “agent.” According to the SBU, in this way, the Rashists hoped not only to kill as many civilians as possible, but also to eliminate the “executor” as an “extra witness.”
When the girl refused to take the explosive device to the city center, the Russian special serviceman began threatening to “turn” her over to the SBU. However, Ukrainian law enforcement officers accompanied the girl’s every step. Thanks to this, it was possible not only to prevent the terrorist attack, but also to document the entire process of its preparation — from the recruitment of the schoolgirl to the attempt to blow it up by the invaders.
Law enforcement officers are currently identifying all racists who may have been involved in organizing the terrorist attack. Investigators have launched criminal proceedings into a war crime.
We will remind you that the counterintelligence of the Security Service prevented terrorist attacks that were to take place in the Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions at the request of Russian special services.
As reported, two 18-year-old residents of Rivne were detained, who turned out to be agents of Russian special services and tried to commit a terrorist attack against Ukrainian police officers.
