Security Service of Ukraine officers gathered evidence and reported the suspicion to the Russians who commanded the missile strike on a playground in a densely populated area of Kryvyi Rih.

This was reported to the SBU.

During the investigation, investigators managed to identify four Russian terrorists who commanded the strike with an Iskander-M ballistic missile with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead.

According to the case materials, the overall leadership of the attack was exercised by Colonel General Alexei Kim, who is the Chief of Staff of the joint group of Russian troops.

He also involved Vice Admiral Alexander Peshkov, head of the Joint Center for Planning and Coordination of Fire Defeat of the Enemy, in the attack on the city.

The attack was prepared by Rear Admiral Oleksiy Petrushyn, head of the center for intelligence control and coordination of fire destruction of the enemy of the combined group of forces. At the same time, he was responsible for the technical support of the air attack.

Together with him, these tasks were carried out by the head of the missile forces and artillery department of the joint grouping of troops of the aggressor country, Colonel Oleksandr Kisedobrev.

SBU investigators informed them in absentia about suspicions that a group of individuals committed war crimes that caused the death of people — Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

“Comprehensive measures are underway to hold the command of the Russian troops accountable for crimes against our state,” the department summarized.

As a reminder, on April 4, Russian troops fired ballistic missiles at Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The strike hit the center of a residential neighborhood in the city.
