SBU wants to obtain the entire document flow database of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences – media

The Security Service of Ukraine appealed to the court to obtain copies of the entire document flow database of the High Anti-Corruption Court, which, in particular, contains information about the NABU and SAPO investigations.

This was reported by Babel, citing sources at the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.

According to the publication’s sources, in April 2026, the Main Investigation Department of the SBU initiated criminal proceedings after a complaint from one of the defendants. He stated that there had been alleged “fraud” in determining the composition of the court to consider his case, which had been submitted to the Supreme Court of Justice back in 2025.

This week, an SBU investigator applied to the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv with a request to receive copies of the entire document flow database of the VAKS.

The SBU justified the request by the need to check the procedure for determining the composition of the court in 2025.

According to the publication, the Shevchenkivskyi District Court will consider the petition on August 21 at 10:00.

As previously reported, the Cabinet of Ministers has removed the chairman of the supervisory board of the state-owned Sense Bank . The government has also initiated the removal of the chairman of the bank’s board.

As a reminder, NABU reported on the conduct of investigative actions within the framework of the special operation “Forrest Gump”. At that time, the agency did not disclose the names of the suspects and other details of the investigation, promising to provide more information later.

The defendants in the Forrest Gump case also discussed the inability to obtain information from anti-corruption authorities and considered how to control the anti-corruption system.
