In Odessa, the Odessa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCK and SP) launched an internal investigation into the incident that occurred on December 4, 2025.
This is stated in the relevant post of the department.
According to the NGO “Defense of the State. Odessa”, a group of employees of the Peresypsky District CCC tried to forcibly mobilize serviceman Roman Pokydko, recently released from Russian captivity, who was undergoing rehabilitation in the city.
After presenting all the necessary documents, Pokydko was forcibly pushed into a service car, tear gas was used, beaten, and thrown out of the car while it was moving.
The incident caused public outrage. The CCC assured that the reaction to the event took place even before it was reported in the media, and promised that if abuse of authority or illegal actions are proven, the military will be held accountable in accordance with the law.
Roman Pokydko is currently undergoing a medical examination. The NGO “Defense of the State. Odesa” calls for an objective and fair investigation and awaits the official results of the investigation.
We will remind, in the village of Nova Chortoriya in the Zhytomyr region on the evening of December 6, on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a clash occurred between female students of a local college and a serviceman of the 4th department of the Zhytomyr district CCC and SP.
