Scandal in the Rada: Bezugla blocked the rostrum – a fight broke out

A fight broke out in the Verkhovna Rada before the start of the session after MP Maryana Bezugla blocked the rostrum and demanded the resignation of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky.
This was reported by People’s Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko.
During the conflict, Serhiy Taruta tried to remove the tapes that Bezugla had used to block the rostrum. A verbal altercation broke out between the deputies, which escalated into a physical fight.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, called on the deputies to stop the conflict and vacate the rostrum so that the parliament can continue its work.
It was previously reported that MP from the Servant of the People party, Mariana Bezugla, blocked the holding of a closed meeting of the parliamentary committee on national security, defense, and intelligence.
As a reminder, the Verkhovna Rada did not support the resolution to suspend People’s Deputy Maryana Bezugla from participating in plenary sessions.
