Kyiv schools resume classes on February 2. After the winter holidays, students return to the educational process.
This was announced by Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Valentyn Mondryivskyi.
According to him, each school will independently determine the format of education. It can be face-to-face, distance or blended learning – depending on the security situation, the availability of heat and electricity.
Schools designated as hotspots will operate in a format chosen by the teaching staff. In the event of an emergency, such institutions will transition to hotspot operation and instruction will be moved online.
School leaders must inform parents and students about the learning format by January 30. Families will be able to choose the option they consider safe.
The decision to resume classes was made after assessing the condition of educational institutions and the energy supply situation in the city.
