On Tuesday, June 9, increased geomagnetic activity is observed on Earth, but it remains at a relatively moderate level. According to experts, a yellow-level magnetic storm with a K-index of 4.3 is being recorded.

This is evidenced by data from the meteoagent portal and the British Geological Survey.

According to observations, solar activity remains unstable at the moment. The speed of the solar wind has increased, but in general the Earth’s geomagnetic field has already returned to a calmer state after the previous storm.

At the same time, scientists warn of a possible increase in activity in the coming days. It is expected that the coronal mass ejection that occurred on June 6 may reach Earth. In the event of its impact, geomagnetic conditions may increase to the level of a severe storm STORM G3.

Magnetic storms are caused by solar flares that eject charged particles into space. When they reach Earth’s magnetic field, they cause fluctuations that are recorded as geomagnetic storms of varying strength.

Experts note that people who are weather-dependent may be most sensitive to such changes. During this period, headaches, weakness, sleep disturbances, dizziness, and a general deterioration in well-being are possible.
