Searches in SAP: SBU gained access to information about all overt and covert operational activities

In the morning, the Security Service of Ukraine came to the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) without official warning to check compliance with the legislation on state secrets.

This was reported by the SAP.

During the inspection, SBU employees gained access to information about all covert and operational activities, as well as special operations conducted by NABU and SAP.

The prosecutor’s office noted that the inspection took place while the leadership of NABU and SAP were on a business trip abroad.

Such actions may lead to the disclosure of details of covert investigative actions in numerous criminal proceedings. We call on SBU employees to adhere to the law in order to avoid information leaks and disruption of investigations into top corruption cases,” the SAP stated.

Earlier, the SBU conducted searches at the homes of NABU detectives .
