Russian troops have been carrying out combined strikes on bridges in Zaporizhia for two days. The attacks damaged the road surface of one of the bridges, but traffic has already been restored. Currently, all bridge crossings in the city are operating normally.

This was stated on television by the acting head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA, Mykhailo Semikin.

According to him, over the past two days, Russian troops have carried out several combined strikes on bridges in Zaporizhia. After the attack the day before, city services restored traffic within about two hours.

“Today, October 7, at around 5:00 a.m., the enemy attacked the city again. As a result of the strike, the roadbed of one of the bridges was damaged,” Semikin noted.

Semikin clarified that it was a cable-stayed bridge, one of three in the city. Traffic was quickly restored after the damage.

Currently, all bridge crossings and transport connections in Zaporizhia are operating normally.

It was previously reported that Russian occupiers struck one of the bridges across the Dnieper River in Zaporizhia. As a result of the attack, traffic on the bridge was temporarily blocked, and five people were injured.
