Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko receives hundreds of thousands of hryvnias from a private educational institution, while at the same time facilitating the appointment of its head to the supervisory boards of strategic state-owned enterprises.
This was stated on the air of “Pryamoy” by former Minister of Social Policy Andriy Reva, pointing out the presence of a conflict of interest in the actions of Svyridenko and Tymofii Mylovanov.
According to him, such actions have the characteristics of a criminal offense, since they actually involve exchanging public positions for private payments.
“Mylovanov gave a bribe, and accordingly Sviridenko paid off Mylovanov for giving her such a warm place and the opportunity to receive funds in the amount that she has,” Reva noted.
According to published data, Svyridenko receives 270 thousand hryvnias from Mylovanov for teaching activities. During the same period, at her suggestion, Mylovanov joined the supervisory boards of the companies “Ukrainian Defense Industry” and NNEGC “Energoatom”, where his monthly remuneration reaches almost 600 thousand hryvnias.
Reva compared this case to the situation of Rivne Mayor Oleksandr Tretyak, who was removed from office for a much smaller conflict of interest. The former official called on law enforcement agencies to verify these facts, which are already reflected in the officials’ official declarations.
As a reminder, after the publication of the annual declaration for 2025, it became known that Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko received more than three million hryvnias from the Kyiv School of Economics for “scientific work.” This amount is twice as much as her official salary in the Cabinet of Ministers.
Journalists from “Pryamoy” tried to find out from the students of the Kyiv State University of Economics whether they had attended Svyrydenko’s lectures, how many such lectures there were, and what she talked about. This caused a violent reaction from the president of the Kyiv State University of Economics, Tymofii Mylovanov.
In addition, earlier, People’s Deputy Volodymyr Ariev also sent an official request to the KSE regarding Svyridenko’s earnings, but received a formal reply.
