Security guarantees: Turkey will focus on maritime direction for Ukraine

Turkey has expressed its desire to join Ukraine’s security guarantees — with a special emphasis on the maritime component.

This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Turkey has stated that it wants to be part of Ukraine’s security guarantees, being responsible for maritime security,” he said.

Recall that Romania may open its air bases for the deployment of American F-35s, considering this as a contribution to ensuring lasting peace in Ukraine.

As reported, Turkey does not rule out the participation of its peacekeepers in Ukraine, but for this to happen, a ceasefire must be established and the framework of the mission with a clear mandate must be defined.

By the way, Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed the opinion that Russia’s war against Ukraine will end with an agreement . And a “peace table” will be set in Turkey.
