During the visit, Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Polish President Karol Nawrocki. The parties discussed the state of bilateral relations, Russia’s war against Ukraine, and diplomatic efforts to protect Europe.

“I am glad to be on an official visit to Poland again. I am grateful to President Navrosky for our conversation and I very much hope that this visit opens a new, even more significant stage in our relations with you – Ukraine and Poland,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The President of Ukraine emphasized that the independence of Ukraine and Poland is the foundation of security for all of Europe and a guarantee of freedom for the peoples of the region without the influence of Moscow.

The President of Ukraine also emphasized Poland’s role in international security formats, in particular, participation in 12 meetings of the Coalition of the Willing, where security guarantees for Ukraine were discussed.

In addition, Zelenskyy reported on the importance of the decision of European Union leaders to provide Ukraine with an interest-free loan of 90 billion euros, which is linked to future Russian reparations. According to him, this will ensure financial stability and support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Separately, the President of Ukraine drew attention to the security threats associated with the relocation of the Oreshnik complex to the territory of Belarus and called on partners to increase sanctions pressure on Russia and companies that supply components for this weapon.
