On Wednesday, December 17, the Servant of the People party elected a new chairman — the position was taken by First Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Kornienko.
This was announced by the head of the faction, David Arakhamia.
In this way, Kornienko replaced Olena Shulyak, who had been the party leader since 2021.
“I want to thank Olena Shulyak for her high-quality and honest work in this position and wish Oleksandr further success and inspiration!” Arakhamia wrote.
It is worth noting that Kornienko was already the head of the Servant of the People, leading the party from 2019 to 2021.
In addition, he headed the election headquarters of the Servant of the People party, and entered the Verkhovna Rada in 2019 at number 7.
