Seventh day of attacks: drones hit Leningrad region
On the night of Tuesday, March 31, the Russian port of Ust-Luga once again came under attack by drones. This marks the seventh consecutive day that drones have been spotted in the Leningrad Region.
The incident is reported by Russian media.
Local residents complain that explosions and intense gunfire were heard in the port area. Similar sounds were also recorded in the Kyrysh, Luzh, and Tosno districts.
Russian authorities said that about 20 drones were allegedly shot down over the port.
Previously, the threat of drone use was announced in these areas.
In addition, local authorities warned of possible disruptions to mobile internet, including reduced connection speeds due to the risk of new attacks.
It should be noted that this is the third strike on this facility in the last month.
As a reminder, on March 25, drones attacked the Russian port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad Region. The shelling caused a fire.
As reported, the Russian company Novatek suspended gas condensate processing and oil exports from the port of Ust-Luga after a UAV attack on March 25. A fire broke out at the facility, and the timing of the resumption of work remains unknown.
