On the evening of October 14, power went out in several areas of the capital due to network overload.

This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.

Due to a problem that arose at one of Kyiv’s energy facilities, residents of the Holosiivskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Pecherskyi districts of the capital were left without electricity.

As the administration emphasized, specialists are currently working to eliminate the problems and restore power.

In addition, due to power outages at some metro stations, the voltage dropped and the system switched to backup power. The outage lasted one minute.

“Currently, all stations are operating normally, the metro is functioning without interruptions,” the Kyiv City State Administration assured.

As a reminder, due to previous Russian shelling, the situation in the Ukrainian energy system remains difficult – consumers in nine regions were left without electricity .
