Severe frost expected again in Ukraine: where the temperature will drop the lowest

Despite the easing of frosts, in the coming days in some Ukrainian regions the air temperature will drop to -16°C.

This was reported by “Ukrainska Pravda” with reference to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.

So, on January 27, wet snow and rain will fall almost throughout the country. Ice is expected in the North and South, and icy roads in all regions except the central ones.

At night in Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia regions and in the East, thermometers will drop to -16°C, and during the day – from -3°C… to -8°C. A slight frost will persist in the rest of the territories, only in Transcarpathia and the south of Odessa region will temperatures be recorded from +1°C…+6°C, and in Crimea – up to +12°C.

The next day, the temperature in most regions will remain at 0…-8°C, in the South it will be warmer — up to +9°C, and in Crimea — up to +12°C.

On January 29, light snow and rain are possible, and fog in the western and northern regions.

The temperature throughout Ukraine will range from -2°C to +3°C, with more than 10°C expected on the peninsula.
