Severe frosts are coming to Ukraine

In Ukraine, a decrease in air temperature is expected at the end of December, with night frosts down to -11 degrees.
This was reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.
According to her, the weather in the country in the coming days will still be determined by an anticyclone, so significant precipitation is not forecast. However, approximately from December 26, a colder air mass will begin to arrive in Ukraine.
During this period, daytime temperatures may drop to slight “minus”, and at night the thermometer will drop to -5…-11°.
At the same time, on Wednesday, December 18, the weather will remain relatively warm. It will be dry throughout the country, with light rain possible only in Transcarpathia, and rain with sleet in the Carpathians. The wind is west and northwest, moderate, gusty in places.
The air temperature at night will fluctuate around 0°, during the day it will be +3…+6°, in the western regions — up to +7°. In the south, +6…+11° is expected, and in Crimea — up to +12°.
No significant precipitation is forecast in Kyiv on December 18. The daytime air temperature in the capital will remain around +5°.
The forecaster emphasized that the most accurate forecasts are possible for 1–3 days, while further weather changes are approximate and will require clarification.
