In Russia-annexed Sevastopol, supermarkets have begun to impose restrictions on the sale of certain food products. In particular, shoppers are allowed to buy no more than three bottles of oil and three packs of pasta at a time.

This is reported by local and Russian Telegram channels.

According to published videos from shopping malls, restrictions are already in effect in some stores, in particular in the Dobrostroy chain. There is currently no information about other products subject to limits.

The introduction of such rules for the release of products is being recorded against the backdrop of aggravating logistical and fuel problems on the occupied peninsula, which is also beginning to affect the food market.

According to sources, the main part of the supply of goods to Crimea is carried out by road via the land route R-280 “Novorossiya”, which passes through the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk region and Zaporizhia region.

In recent weeks, regular damage to freight vehicles transporting fuel and goods has been recorded on this route, which, according to drivers, significantly complicates logistics and increases the cost of transportation.

As a result, some carriers refuse to operate flights to Crimea without a significant increase in fares, which further affects the stability of the supply of goods to the peninsula.

Recall that in the annexed Crimea , a coupon system for AI-95 gasoline and restrictions on the sale of AI-92 began to operate on May 31. Due to the fuel shortage, gas stations introduced limits for drivers and banned the sale of gasoline in canisters.

As reported later, problems with gasoline and restrictions on fuel sales were recorded in at least 15 regions of the country, as well as in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
